Senior QA Engineer, Client Automation
The Senior QA Client Automation Engineer develops test automation suites for the client of Imagine Learning Cloud Services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT or related field or equivalent work experience
Required Knowledge and Experience
Eight or more years of applicable professional QA experience focused on test harnesses and test automation (or bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT/related field with 4+ years of experience)
Experience in computer programming and advanced scripting
Experience in cloud-based performance and scalability testing
Expertise with Windows 7, Window 8, Windows 10 (Chromebook, Android, iOS, Mac OS X, and Linux also a plus)
Experience with SQL databases and other data repositories / blob storage (Mongo, XML, etc.)
Solid knowledge of cloud-based computing and a general knowledge of networking
Knowledge of testing efficiency aids such as VMware, Imaging tools, Defect tracking tools, Test Case tracking tools, etc.
Knowledge of the software development life cycle and specific knowledge of quality processes
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong programming background in an object-oriented language
Ability to communicate at a college level, verbally and in writing
Strong analytical skills
Ability to mentor and train less experienced team members
Ability to diagnose software problems beyond superficial symptoms and establish a root cause
Demonstrated leadership skills including being self-driven and motivated to research, plan, and execute tasks with limited supervision

Experience in performance and scalability testing
Strong experience with SQL and direct database testing
